As many of you may know, I tend to be a rather private being when it comes to the music I make. It has always been a deeply personal experience for me, mostly made in the quiet of our home, in evenings, where I can dive in to connect and channel the songs that pull on me to come through and be made. Once those songs travel out to find you, they then become yours, and then a deeply personal experience takes its course in your being too. This moment of connection will always remain the most essential point of communication between us, and the most important to me. This is the part that lasts the arc of time, and will continue to shape me and my entire career alongside it.

I have recently reached a point where I have become unable to personally respond to each beautiful message I receive about the music’s connections with you. And your messages are no ordinary notes; they are filled with your soul stories, your heartaches, your moving throughs, your pain, your recovery, your peace, your joy, your huge losses, your breakthroughs, your crossings to the other sides, the outer dimensions and the inner existence. They are the heart centered.

I have wrestled with this for two long years, as the time gradually crept up on me, feeling torn and a sense of loss, as the time it would now to take to respond to everyone would overwhelm my own life to live and to create. Your notes have shaped me, humbled me, become a part of me, and will continue to do so. They remain one of the brightest points of my everyday, and ground me daily.
