WITH SHERYL HASTALIS AND LAURALEE KELLY
Join us as we create a loving and safe space together to unwind, allowing us to settle into the deepest levels of relaxation in the body, mind and spirit. Using yoga asana, live music, voice, breath and physical touch, we will move gently into the letting go.
Yoga teacher Sheryl Hastalis will lead the first half of the evening in a yoga asana sequence which will warm the body, incorporating freedom of movement and expression, helping us to open the channels to release any old energy we no longer need to carry forward with us.
Then we will unfurl our bodies onto the mat to begin the second half of the evening, as we relax into a restorative 40 minute live musical soundscape by musicians Essie Jain and Patrick Glynn, where we will be supported by blankets and props for relaxation and move into the subtle body where further release can take place. During this time, cranio-sacral and body therapist Lauralee Kelly, will bring her healing touch and lightwork to everyone at rest. At the close, we will unfurl the body carefully back to a sitting position, and close together with a sharing circle.
Please wear comfortable clothing for the yoga asanas. Mats and all props will be provided on the day, and feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you have one.
